As always, we welcome your feedback as it is a key factor in our continuing growth. Thanks to all of you who have taken time to email your thoughts and compliments. One of the things that many of you asked for is to be able to track the progress of your order without having to telephone us. We have listened to you and now introduced the Customer Login section at the top right of the main page. This enables you to view the progress of your order through our system. The automated emails will continue to advise you of the status of your order should you not wish to login and will continue to link to your vat invoice.
Your business is important to us and hopefully we can remain your 1st choice as we endeavour to offer the best service with the best prices.
Happy New Year everybody!
March 2010 - We are often asked what the difference is between Pelican cases and Peli cases. The answer is simple - structurally none! Pelican cases is the brand name that the cases are sold under in the USA and can not be bought here. In Europe and thus the UK, the cases are branded as Peli cases. They are the same cases manufactured by the same people using the same tooling. The only differences are the logos and cartons. In the USA the brand logo on the case is "Pelican" and in the UK & Europe, the logo on the case is "Peli". Finally, the Peli cases are supplied in plain cartons whereas the Pelican cases are supplied in printed cartons.
We hope that this clears up the Pelican case "mystery" but should you have any further queries, then please do not hesitate tocontact the office. We have introduced this category purely because many customers refer to Peli cases as Pelican cases, but would stress that all "Pelican cases" ordered in the UK are actually Peli cases supplied by Peli UK.
April 2010 - Hardigg Industries were bought out by Pelican Inc. last year and so the re-branding of the Hardigg Storm Case is now complete. The new name for the case range in the UK will be "Peli Storm" cases which are also known as "Pelican Storm" cases in the USA for the same reasons explained above. These are still the same cases as previously supplied but now come under the Peli|Pelican range.
However they are not available to buy from Peli UK or UK Peli case dealers and are only available from the existing Storm case dealers. Again, should this not clear up any confusion, please contact the office for a further explanation if required.
