All Peli cases are made from a structural copolymer resin. Incorporated into the shell of the Peli case is a pressure purge valve to allow pressure equalisation.
Every Peli Case has a neoprene "O" ring in the lid ensuring that the tongue and groove seal remains airtight and waterproof thus giving the contents total protection from the elements. With the hinges and handle interlocks forming part of the moulding, it makes them virtually impossible to break in the event of rough handling. A padlock facility (also an integral part of the moulding) when used with a Peli Lock keeps your property safe during transit.
