Like all Peli cases, it is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. Its exclusive 6.4 mm neoprene o-ring and ABS latches seal perfectly and includes two automatic purge valves for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure.
The Pelican 1740 case is perfect for safely transporting your longer pieces of equipment and has wide-track, polyurethane wheels (for stable mobility) to ensure extended towing durability. Ergonomic features include an extra-wide handle on the end for ease of steering whilst wheeling.
Designed to either be moved manually or stacked on pallets, the Pelican 1740 case also has four extra-deep base-to-lid locking cleats that ensure maximum stacking stability. A padlock facility (also an integral part of the moulding) keeps your property safe from roving hands. The Pelican 1740 case has outer padlock holes that have reinforced metal padlock protectors to ensure the case cannot be easily cut or pried open.
