I've come to expect a high standard from Peli and this case delivers. I got it with the lid organiser and the padding which was perfect for a compact camera kit. Supposedly it's approved as carry-on luggage which is a great bonus, but I haven't put this to test yet.

I bought this case to protect both my digital and analogue camera equipment and accessories whilst on a trip abroad.

I cannot recommend this case enough for anyone looking to get a good sized case for trips abroad and are worried about the safety of their gear. It will take knocks and bumps with ease - I actually jumped up and down on mine to make sure.

The only oversight that I made whilst buying this case was purchasing only a single TSA lock instead of two; I did not realise that there were two locking holes, which was of course my fault.

I would highly recommend purchasing two TSA locks instead of one, due to the inside of the case still being accessible (albeit forcefully at an angle) if only one lock is used. For example, I placed an iPad Air inside my case (horizontally across the top of the divider set) and quickly realised that it could still be accessed (after some effort) with only a single lock on it. To remedy this I used a third party lock with a key as a short term measure but still found this to be cumbersome over the TSA lock and it's combination lock.

In terms of customer service, Jit-pack responded to my questions prior to placing my order for the Peli case in a timely and insightful manner, which helped in my decision to purchase the Peli 1510 case from them and not Ebay or Amazon. The Peli case arrived within the stated timeframe and Jit-pack's prices trumped Ebay and Amazon prices even with the inclusion of additional accessories.
